Q:I have a miniature Yorkie-how wide are the openings-I don’t want him squeezing threw-or getting stuck between them.

With the door all the way opened, it’s 9″ wide and 9.5″ high.

Q:I have a 24″ bathroom door. Will this product work for me?

A:

Yes, definitely

Q:Placing on the beginning of steps. The top of spindle is smaller than bottom of spindle. Can the gate be adjusted on top and bottom to fit space?

A:

There really isn’t much way to adjust the two contact points, unless you were to wedge some type of spacer in between the rubber contact point and the spindle . It could be rigged up to work but not sure how much effort it would take.

Q:I want to put in kitchen door way only when we leave the house, is it easy to put up and remove?

A:

Super easy. Pull the pin and slide the gate remove it. Slide the gate to each wall, set the latch in place, turn the tension adjustment, and voila! It’s up!

Q:How do you place gate in door way? Do you push it in place and lift to remove? Want to leave 15inch gap to floor so dog can go under high enough to be a people gate with top about 30 inches. Need it for individual with Alzheimer’s as wandering control…

A:

You will definitely be able to do that. You place the bar to a point that is near the point where it would be a tight fit in the door, and then screw the end cap until it tightens into place. This gate holds REALLY solidly, more than any expandable gate we’ve had in the past. We’ve had it for a few months now, and it hasn’t fallen or wiggled loose at all. Also, if the door is large enough for your dog, there is a door that can be opened and closed on the bottom of the gate.

Q:can this fit a 27″ opening?

A:

yes…and it will look nice as well. I love it!
