It does have increments but the side wings are hinged and help make up any difference in needed width. Its light and easily moved.
Q:baby
A:
If you are asking if it can be used to block an area from a baby, I think so. It stands pretty firmly in place and would be hard to topple over. My 50 lb dog has not moved it yet and I have it mid-way down a hallway to slow her down. It is nice looking also.
Q:will this work for shiba inu dogs range from 18lbs to 27lbs then i have a mixed shiba who’s 44lbs but he’s 16yrs weill this work for them?
A:
It works great for 2 mini Australian Sheppard they weight 24Lbs
Q:I wanted to know the approximate weight and how hard it would be to push over by a 10 lb dachshund?
A:
I’m not sure of the weight but it would be impossible for a 10 pound dachshund to knock I over. The design on the feet of the gate makes it withstand quite a bit of pressure. I have an 18 pound bishop and a 19 pound shi-tsue (sp?) and neither of them can tip it over.
Q:what is the distance between bars
A:
1 and 1/4 inches
Q:To go through the gate is it only right to left or vice versa moving the sides or is there a middle
A:
It is solid, you must move the entire thing or step over
Q:How heavy is this gate?
A:
Just a few pounds, maybe 2 or 3
Q:How tall is this gate? I’m looking for something free standing to put at the top of our stairs to keep the cats from going up there.
A:
20″ tall
Q:When free standing, what is the length from the tip of the leg to the end of the side panel? i.e. footprint
A:
It’s 17 1/2 inches from tip of leg to tip of side panel ( aka total depth while in my doorway )
Q:Does this come in other colors? Need a cherry or espresso wood
A:
I am sorry it does not at this time.
A:
It is about 20″, but my one dog is a cross between a Pit Bull, Lab, and whatever else. She will not jump over it. My daughter has much bigger labs, and they won’t either. It is a really nice gate and stand up so you don’t have to keep moving it. My cocker spaniel can get through it on the side and so can I. Hope this helps.
Q:can a dachsund puppy fit through the bars?
A:
There is a 1.25″ gap between the bars.
Q:How deep are the side wings?
A:
they are 10 inches
Q:How tall is this gate. The other one is 28 inches tall. The website doesn’t give height for this gate.
A:
My gate is 20″ tall. I thought I saw it somewhere in the description, at least back when I purchased it. We love this gate, as it has worked out wonderfully with our chihuahuas.
Q:How tall is it?
A:
20 inches
Q:the gate door open for family access or do you have to move the entire gate?
A:
You can just pick it up and move one end or the whole gate. The ends are hinged but not to open as a gate. My daughter has cerebral palsy and she hangs onto the wall and steps over it easily.
Q:will it “gate” an English Bulldog 75 lbs???? 3 yrs old…not high energy….
A:
If he isn’t a jumper, yes. Although the bulldogs I have been around may be able to push it.
Q:I can’t imagine my puppy not knocking it right over-do they?
A:
I use it for my son. He can drag it around but not knock it over.
Q:how tall is the gate?
A:
20 inches.
Q:Would a 14 lb bichon be able to push this gate from the side with her face and get around it? I had a similar gate to this (without the side panels) and that’s just what she did.
A:
We bought this for our disabled cat and have had no problems with it. We do have a 12-lb. dog but he has not tried to move it; it is fairly substantial.
A:
The gate is about 20 inches tall.
Q:how tall is this gate?
A:
